Here’s a great video our friend Steven Preston took of Cherokee Fade and us working out a duet on “Call Me Carolina” and playing it at the Red Vic this past December. Some awesome pics on Steven’s blog from this show here.
Played a private show last night at the Red Vic Theater opening up for the Swedish band, Fredrik. Shit that was fun. A) Put a SF based trio together that after three practices sounds super tight and it’s exciting as hell to see what transpires with this. B) Wow, Fredrik is amazing (link here). That was one of the more interesting shows I’ve seen in a while.
Thanks to our new favorite blog, Wild Honey Pie for the generous review of our new album which includes a Bruce Springsteen comparison. See the review here.
Happy 2012. Our time period is gilded just like all of the ones before us. (Unfortunately ours often feels cold and laced with brevity)
Our new album is out. And it’s free. We’re only expecting payment for it in two forms:
1) That you send us a picture of you smiling while listening to it; and
2) That you pass is along to anyone you also think may enjoy it and encourage them to do the same. Like you’re starting a pyramid scheme, except there’s no rewards except self satisfaction and getting cool points.
Here’s a stream of it:
Help fund the finishing of our album… We can’t wait for you to hear it, but we need a little help getting there, click here to help us get it mastered. And click here if you want to hear a track from it.
I think our new record might be done. That was easy. There’s more to this story to come.
here’s a little live performance video shot by Steven Preston and Ozzie Clarke in the woods near Jalama Beach during a little down time on our March/April California tour.
